Turkish agriculture minister meets Bosniak leader

ANKARA (A.A) - February 16, 2012 - Turkey's Minister of Agriculture, Food and Animal Breeding Mehmet Mehdi Eker met Bakir Izetbegovich, Bosniak member of the Presidency of Bosnia-Herzegovina, the Turkish minister's press office said. Izetbegovich told Eker that Bosnia-Herzegovina monitored growth in Turkey's agricultural sector, saying his country was willing to take advantage of Turkey's experiences in agriculture. "Turkey is a model for us. And we believe in its experience in agriculture," Izetbegovich said.       Izetbegovich briefed Eker over Bosnia-Herzegovina's own efforts to improve agriculture in the country, expressing readiness for cooperation.
