TURKISH DEPUTY FOREIGN MINISTER WRAPS HIS VISIT TO MONGOLIA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ “Turkey can share its experience on infrastructure development with Mongolia. There could also be mutual interests in cooperation in mining sector. The two countries must work together in agriculture and tourism. Especially, flight frequency is increased between Turkey and Mongolia will open a big door for European tourists”, said Ambassador Ahmet Yıldız, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkey as he concluded his working visit to Mongolia on May 9, Tuesday. Speaking to a MONTSAME correspondent, the Ambassador reflected on his first visit to Mongolia. The Turkish delegates met with Mongolian government officials including, Minister of Education, Culture, Science and Sports J.Batsuuri, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs B.Battsetseg, Deputy Minister of Road and Transport Development B.Tsogtgerel and Deputy Minister of Finance Kh.Bulgantuya. “Main agenda between Turkey and Mongolia is foreign trade which is at a low level at the moment. We’ve discussed possibilities to increase trade with the corresponding officials”, the Deputy Minister said. Moreover, the delegates visited Turkic era memorials in Nalaikh and Kharkhorin, and held meetings with the Board members of Association of Turkish Alumni (ATA) and Member of Parliament D.Murat.
