Turkish deputy pm Arinc says meeting demands of minorities is a duty

ANKARA (A.A) - December 15, 2011 - Turkish Deputy Prime Minister Bulent Arinc said that meeting the demands of minorities regarding immovable properties and foundations was a duty. In his official twitter account, Arinc said that 22 immovable properties of minorities, which did not have any legal entity since 1912, were given foundation status so far. Noting that they revived both Turkish historical artifacts and the foundations of minorities in Turkey, Arinc said that Beyoglu Greek Girls' School was given foundation status last week. Arinc added that immovable properties belonging to Izmir Jewish community, which did not have legal entity for 100 years, were also given foundation status two days ago.
