TURKISH DEPUTY PM AWARDED “FRIENDSHIP” MEDAL

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On the occasion of the 45th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and Turkey, the Deputy Prime Minister of Turkey Bulent Arinc has been awarded “Friendship” medal. The ceremony ran October 28 at the Embassy of Mongolia in Ankara. The Mongolian Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to Turkey B.Batkhishig handed this prize and said that a distinguished political figure of Turkey Mr Arinc has contributed in the increase of investments from Turkey to Mongolia and in the expansion of the bilateral trades through his active presidency over the Mongolia-Turkey intergovernmental committee on economy and trade and organizing regular meetings of the committee in Ankara and Ulaanbaatar. The Turkish deputy PM thanked the Mongolian sides for the award that symbolizes the traditional friendly relations of the two countries and highlighted possibilities to extend these relations. Mr Arinc is a distinguished politician, having established the ruling party of Turkey since 2002 – The Juctice and Development Party with the current president R.T.Erdogan and the former president A.Gul, and worked as the Chairman of the Grand National Assembly of Turkey in 2002-2007.
