Turkish Envoy: Turkey Welcomes Iran-G5+1 Deal

Tehran, Nov 25, IRNA – Turkish Ambassador to Tehran Umit Yardim on Sunday said that Turkey welcomes the deal between the Islamic Republic of Iran and G5+1. Speaking to IRNA, he described the deal as a significant diplomatic move. The historical deal is very important, he said, adding that “We hope the agreement would lead to development and stability of the countries in the region. He also expressed the hope that the Geneva agreement will be a source of blessing for the Iranian government and nation. After four days of intense talks between Iran and G5+1, the two sides inked a deal early Sunday morning. Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Sunday that Iran’s nuclear program will be continued without any halt. The move will lead to easing of sanctions which is regarded as a significant achievement of the Geneva talks, Zarif said./end
