Turkish FM to call Zarif on Aleppo

Ankara, Dec 14, IRNA - Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced that he is to have a telephone conversation with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif on Wednesday. The talks will focus on the developments in Syria's Aleppo, Cavusoglu said while talking to reporters here on Wednesday. There is now an agreement on ceasefire, but it should be implemented, the Turkish minister noted. In line with the events happening in Aleppo, Cavusoglu said he negotiated over the phone with the Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov last night. He said he will call Lavrov again after his Wednesday talks with Zarif. 1378/IRNA
