Turkish FM meets Iraqi national security minister

ANKARA (AA) - April 5, 2012 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Thursday met with Iraqi Minister of State for National Security Affairs Falih Faysal Fahad al-Fayyad in the Turkish capital, Ankara.  Turkish diplomatic sources close to the meeting said the two officials discussed the current state of bilateral relations, cooperation on fight against terrorism as well as latest developments in the Middle East and recent developments in Syria.  Davutoglu also raised the issue of 24 Turkish workers who are currently under custody in Iraq as the Iraqi minister said he would look into the matter.
