Turkish FM Urges Need For Working With Iran On Syria

United Nations, New York, Sept 25, IRNA – Visiting Foreign Minister of Turkey Ahmet Davutoglu said Tuesday that Ankara would continue its cooperation with Tehran on seeking a solution to end the ongoing crisis in Syria. The Turkish minister made the remarks in a short interview with IRNA after his meeting with his Iranian counterpart Mohammad Javad Zarif here. The meeting took place on the sidelines of the 68th meeting of the United Nations General Assembly. Asked if Ankara would cooperate with the new government in Tehran to find a way out of the Syrian crisis, Savutoglu said, certainly, why not?/end
