Turkish FM visits Prizren, Mamusha in Kosovo

PRIZREN (A.A) - August 28, 2011 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu on Saturday visited Kosovo's Prizren and Mamusha cities as part of his Balkan tour.
Davutoglu paid a visit to the Turkish battalion operating as part of the multinational NATO task force in Kosovo, KFOR, after attending an inauguration ceremony of the Yunus Emre Culture Center.
Davutoglu later proceeded to the city of Mamusha where he addressed an opening ceremony of the Anatolian Elementary School, which has been built by Turkey.
"Kosovo is a home country for us. The people of Mamusha is our family. You have a special place in our hearts," Davutoglu said.
Davutoglu said two Turkish deputy premiers and two ministers visited Kosovo in the last month, which he said showed that Turkey would never leave Kosovo alone.
Davutoglu also said Kosovar officials gave their words that new biometric passports would be printed in Turkish.
