Turkish foreign minister to attend NATO foreign ministers' meeting

ANKARA (A.A) - December 6, 2011 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu will attend the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers in Brussels on December 7-8, a statement by his ministry said on Tuesday. "Developments in the Middle East and North Africa, Afghanistan, Partnerships, Missile Defense, Deterrence and Defense Posture Review (DDPR) and NATO-Russia relations will be the main items on the agenda of the meeting," it said. The statement said in the framework of the meeting of NATO Foreign Ministers, NATO-Russia Council (NRC) would convene at the Ministerial level. "Additionally, the meeting of NATO Ministers of Foreign Affairs with Non-NATO ISAF Contributing Nations will be held in a separate session. Minister Davutoglu is also planning to hold bilateral talks with a number of his counterparts," it added.
