Turkish foreign minister says Arab League's giving a negative answer is normal

VILNIUS (A.A) - December 6, 2011 - Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu said that Syria's conditionally approving an Arab mission of military and civilian observers into the country did not comply with the essence of the mission. "Arab League's giving a negative answer is normal," Davutoglu said when replying to questions of the Anadolu Agency (AA) and Turkish Radio and Television Corportation (TRT) in Vilnius hosting the 18th Ministerial Council of Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE). Syria has assumed a negative stance by putting forth these conditions, he said. "We will follow developments," he added.
