Turkish Main Opposition Leader Congratulates Iran On Success In Geneva Talks

Ankara, Nov 27, IRNA -- Turkeys main opposition Republican Peoples Party (CHP) leader Kemal Kilicdaroglu on Tuesday congratulated the Iranian nation and government on the recent nuclear agreement reached between Tehran and the West, saying Iran’s diplomacy was the winner of Geneva negotiations. Kilicdaroglu said the new deal paved the way for Iran’s return to the international community. All regional countries need peace and stability, he said, adding, “We share the same culture and history in this region and in the 21st century all countries should support peace.” High-ranking Turkish officials, including the country’s president, foreign minister and some cabinet members welcomed landmark agreement between Iran and six world countries known as G5+1, saying it will have positive effects on the region and the entire world and will benefit Iran-Turkey ties as well./end
