Turkish premier says terrorism was one of main topics during his visit to Germany

ISTANBUL (AA) - November 4, 2011 - Turkish prime minister said on Friday that terrorism was one of the main topics during his talks with German executives.
Premier Recep Tayyip Erdogan said there was no need to talk about the number of people in Germany who had links with the terrorist organization. "This number is thousands, and they are serving, aiding and abetting the terrorist organization this or that way," Erdogan told a press conference at Istanbul's Ataturk Airport as he returned from France. Erdogan visited Germany on November 1 and 2 to mark the 50th anniversary of Turkish-German labor recruitment agreement and later proceeded to Cannes, France for a G-20 summit. Premier Erdogan said he met German Chancellor Angela Merkel and exchanged views on regional and international matters, particularly developments in North Africa and Middle East. Erdogan also said Turkey and Germany reaffirmed their desire to boost their bilateral and multilateral cooperation in order to contribute to international peace and order, stability and prosperity.
