Turkish Shiites Stage Anti-US Demonstration In Istanbul

Ankara, Sept 8, IRNA – Thousands of Turkish Shiites staged an anti-US demonstration in Istanbul to voice their support for the Syrian nation and government. They gathered in a main Istanbul square chanting anti-US and anti-Zionists slogans to announce that they will not play as instruments in the hands of the US and the Zionist regime. In a statement issued at the end of the gathering, the demonstrators voiced their support for the Syrian people against the plots of the hegemonic powers.
