UAE nominated to lead int'l police, security and public safety

Abu Dhabi, March 27, 2012 (WAM) - The Centre for Geographic Information System (GIS) at the Ministry of the Interior has obtained the membership of the International Alliance for Interoperability (IAI) and Open GIS. Meanwhile, the ministry has been nominated to head the international group on police, security and public safety.
