UAE ranks high on Quality of Nationality Index

ABU DHABI, 3rd June 2016 (WAM) --- The UAE has scored more than 50 per cent on the Quality of Nationality Index (QNI), designed by Henley & Partners – Kochenov to rank the objective value of the world’s nationalities, empowering mobile individuals who want to take control of their lives. The ranking was revealed at the global launch of the first edition of the index yesterday in Geneva, Switzerland. The QNI evaluates both the internal (scale of the economy, human development, and peace and stability) and external factors (visa free travel and the ability to settle and work abroad) that make one nationality better than another in terms of legal status in which to develop talents and business. Christian H. Kalin and Professor Dr Dimitry Kochenov authored the index which gives a global dynamic view of the quality of all the nationalities in the world over the last five years, providing fascinating insights into the contemporary trends in citizenship and migration worldwide. – Emirates News Agency, WAM - http://www.wam.ae/en/news/emirates/1395296255409.html
