UAE, Vietnam sign MoU to bolster crime combat efforts

ABU DHABI, 3rd November, 2016 (WAM)-- The UAE and Vietnam on Wednesday signed a memorandum of understanding to bolster co-operation, co-ordination in preventing and combating all forms of crime and enhance their exchange of information, expertise and practices in police training. The agreement was signed by H.H. Lt. General Sheikh Saif bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of the Interior of the UAE, and To Lam, Vietnamese Minister of Public Security, at the Ministry of Interior. A number of issues of common concern and ways of enhancing relations between the UAE Ministry of Interior and the Vietnamese Ministry of Public Security were also discussed by the two ministers during an earlier meeting yesterday.
