UAE's FNC partakes in Arab human rights conference

CAIRO, 3rd June 2016 (WAM) --- The Parliamentary Division at the Federal National Council has participated in a conference on pan-Arab human rights and national security, held by the Arab Federation for Human Rights and the Arab Parliament at the League of Arab States. During the meeting, Deputy of the Committee of Legislative, Legal and Human Rights Affairs at the Arab Parliament, and member of the UAE delegation, Jasim Al Naqbi, said development in Arab countries should be founded on respect for basic human rights. Head of the Human Rights Committee at the FNC, Khalifa Al Mazrouei, said that the UAE participation shows its support for all efforts to protect pan-Arab national security and human rights.
