UB Mayor becomes Honorary citizen of Seoul

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On occasion of the 20th anniversary of the friendly ties between the capital cities of Mongolia and the Republic of Korea, a delegation headed by Mr E.Bat-Uul, the Mayor of Ulaanbaatar city, visited Seoul city this May 1-3. Mr Bat-Uul, and his S.Korean colleague Mr Park Won-soon signed a memorandum on close cooperation in four directions such as urban development, E-governance, tourism, and environment. In addition, Mr Bat-Uul received a certificate of the Honorary citizen of Seoul. Mr Park expressed a satisfaction with a development of the brotherhood ties between the capitals cities and emphasized that these relations have been brought into a newer level. He also said he is confident that the 20-year ties will continue further. Expressing his thanks for titling him as such, Mr Bat-Uul underlined that this award goes to all citizens of Ulaanbaatar.
