Ukrainian president to visit Turkey

ANKARA (A.A) - December 20, 2011 - Ukraine's President Viktor Yanukovych will pay a formal visit to Turkey on December 22 and 23. Yanukovych will hold meetings with Turkish President Abdullah Gul and Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan. Erdogan and Yanukovych will chair the first meeting of Turkey-Ukraine High-Level Strategic Cooperation Council. The two countries will sign several agreements including visa exemption. The council is a high-level intergovernmental mechanism between the two countries.
