US Administration Behavior, Deceptive: Iran Defense Minister

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA - Defense Minister Brigadier-General Ahmad Vahidi on Sunday described US move to impose sanctions against senior Iranian military officials as 'preposterous'. Talking to IRNA, Vahidi said such US measures are 'deceptive', adding that telling lie and dishonesty are very common behaviors among American officials. Vahidi reiterated that Washington is misleading the world public opinion, particularly that of the US. He said the Iranian military commanders have firmly resisted against enemies and are the main cause of their concern. Vahidi said US sanctions against a number of top Iranian military officials is an indication to the power of the Islamic Republic of Iran.
