US, Against Stability, Solidarity Of Muslim World - Jalili

Tehran, July 10, IRNA – Secretary of the Supreme National Security Council Saeed Jalili said here Tuesday that the US approach has so far proved that Washington is against unity, progress and stability in the world of Islam. Jalili made the remarks in a meeting with visiting Afghan Deputy Foreign Minister for Political Affairs Ershad Ahmadi. Iran has been constantly warning regional nations against the US approach, saying Washingtonˈs policies are unreliable, said Jalili. It has been proved that the US anti-terrorist claims and its support for democracy have been sheer lie. As to Tehran-Kabul ties, Jalili hoped the two would strengthen bilateral cooperation in various fields. For his part, the Afghan official appreciated the Iranian nation and government for their humanitarian aid and support for his people in recent years. Ahmadi called for further expansion of Tehran-Kabul bilateral relations. He expressed hope that all regional states would soon witness withdrawal of foreign forces from the entire region./end
