US Drone Kills 7 In NW Pakistan

Islamabad, July 29, IRNA – An American spy aircraft fired missiles into Pakistan’s restive North Waziristan tribal region late Sunday killing at least seven people, security sources said. The drone fired two missiles fully destroying a compound. Officials have said there is a possibility that a high profile figure was killed in the attack. The dead persons could not be identified immediately. This was the fourth drone strike since Nawaz Sharif assumed office as Prime Minister. The US routinely fires missiles into the Pakistani tribal regions on the pretext that the militants use the area for planning attacks across the border into Afghanistan./end
