US Fears From Islamic Civilization: Basij Commander

Kerman, May 22, IRNA – Commander of Basij (Volunteer) force Brigadiere General Mohammad-Reza Naqdi said Tuesday evening that what has frightened the US is not the nuclear Iran but the Islamic Iran and the Islamic civilization. Addressing a gathering of Basij clerics in the Iranian capital, he said enemies have used their ultimate power to destroy the Islamic civilization and the Islamic Revolution as they have realized that the rise of Islam has weakened Western ideals. ˈThe world has been ruled by Capitalism but the time of Capitalism is over now,ˈ Naqdi said noting that Islam has proved that political, economic and Scientific progresses could be made through faith and spirituality./end
