US plans for air strikes against Syria to cause further destabilization - Kremlin

MOSCOW, August 3. /TASS/. Kremlin is certain that the United States’ plans for dealing strikes against armed forces in Syria would cause further destabilization. "These are rather fundamental disagreements between Moscow and Washington. They are no secret at all. They have never bean concealed. They are obvious," Russian presidential press-secretary Dmitry Peskov said when asked by TASS about Moscow’s reaction to Washington’s plans. The Kremlin has said more than once that "any assistance, let alone assistance with financial or technical means to the opposition in Syria will bring about further destabilization in the country," he said. Peskov added that "this brings about a situation the terrorists of the so-called Islamic State can use to their advantage."
