Pyongyang, February 2 (KCNA) -- Shortly ago, the U.S. Centre for Strategic and International Studies said in "Asia-Pacific Rebalance 2025" worked out at the request of the Pentagon that it is necessary to bolster up the missile defense capability in the Asia-Pacific region and discussed the deployment of THAAD in south Korea as one of the technical measures for it. If the missile shield like THAAD is deployed in the Korean Peninsula, the U.S. can disable the strategic weapons of regional powers capable of challenging its strategic interests, to be precise Russia and China, hold military hegemony in the region and, furthermore, gain the possibility of establishing the U.S. dominating system in the Asia-Pacific region.
