US, Zionist Spies Involved In Scientist Assassination: Ayat. Khatami

Qom, Jan 16, IRNA – Tehran's substitute Friday prayers leader, Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami said here on Sunday that it goes without saying that the US and Zionist intelligence services were involved in the assassination of Iranian nuclear scientist Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan. Talking to IRNA, Ayatollah Khatami noted that these assassinations are in line with the measures by the enemies of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Referring to the fact that the US and Zionist intelligence services have implicitly acknowledged to conducting such terrorist acts, he said that such futile efforts are aimed at striking a blow to the Islamic system of Iran which will be in vain as before. In line with their plots to create a chaotic atmosphere inside Iran, enemies of Iran ordered carrying out a terrorist attack on Iranian nuclear scientist, Mostafa Ahmadi Roshan with the use of attaching a magnetic bomb to his car in northern Tehran. Other Iranian nuclear scientists, including Masoud Ali Mohammadi and Majid Shahriari have been martyred throughout past two years by foreign spy agencies./end
