Usurper Zionist Regime, Symbol Of Violation Of Int’l Laws - Envoy

Kuala Lumpur, Aug 18, IRNA – Iran’s Ambassador to Bangkok Hossein Kamalian said the crimes committed by the Zionist regime in the occupied Qods are the living symbol of violation of international laws. He made the remark during a ceremony held on the occasion of the World Qods Day with participation of ambassadors of Islamic countries and Thailand’s political and religious personalities. He also stressed the need for unity among the Islamic countries against the cancer gland. He said the initiative of the Founder of the Islamic Republic the late Imam Khomeini in designating the last Friday of the holy month of Ramadan as the World Qods Day made the issue of Palestine as the first priority of the Islamic World. He stressed that the plots hatched by the Zionist regime and its allies to gain dominance over the Islamic countries have for long failed. The ambassador reiterated that adoption of identical policies and treating the Zionist regime in a firm manner is the only solution to the issue of Palestine. The last Friday of the holy month of Ramdan was named the World Qods Day by Imam Khomeini with the aim of supporting the oppressed people of Palestine and voicing disgust at the Zionists' atrocities. Since then, Muslims worldwide have been observing the occasion by staging rallies demanding freedom of the Holy Qods. Rallies were staged in 550 cities and provincial capitals all over Iran yesterday to observe the world Qods day./end
