Velayati: All Should Support Nuclear Negotiators

Tehran, Jan 27, IRNA – Advisor to Supreme Leader for International Affairs Ali Akbar Veleyati said on Sunday that the Iranian nuclear negotiating team have carried out their task in line with the policies defined by the Supreme Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei. He told reporters after his meeting with sixty Yemeni Ulema and cultural figures that the nation must back the negotiating team as far as the time for a comprehensive agreement is approaching. He said that Iran and the western governments are preparing for negotiations to reach a permanent and comprehensive agreement according to which the western governments will acknowledge Iranian nuclear program as civilian. ˈˈSome political circles are now criticizing talks between Iran and G5+1,ˈ he said. The Iranian nuclear negotiating team is due to hold a very complicated and sensitive negotiations ahead and they need support from the people, Velayati said./end
