VP Congratulates New Turkish PM

Tehran, Sept 10, IRNA - First Vice President Esˈhaq Jahangiri in a message to Ahmet Davutoglu congratulated his appointment as Turkish Prime Minister. He expressed hope that the two countries would witness further consolidation of ties during Davutoglu tenure. Jahangiri also wished success and prosperity for the Turkish government and the nation. Turkey’s ruling Justice and Development Party (AKP) has appointed Davutoglu, ex-foreign minister, to replace Recep Tayyip Erdogan as the country's next prime minister./end
