VP Felicitates Singapore On National Day

Tehran, Aug 9, IRNA – First Vice-President Eshaq Jahangiri, in a message on Saturday, congratulated Singaporean people and government on their National Day (August 9). The day is celebrated every year in commemoration of Singaporeˈs independence from Malaysia in the year 1965. In his message to Prime Minister of Singapore Lee Hsien Loong, the Iranian official expressed hope that Iran-Singapore bilateral, regional and international relations would be further promoted through joint efforts./end
