VP: US, West Unable To Sustain Anti-Iran Sanctions

Tehran, Dec 18, IRNA - First Vice-President Mohammad-Reza Rahimi said Iran’s enemies will not be able to sustain sanctions against the country. Rahimi made the remarks in the inauguration ceremony of Roads, Urban Construction and Related Industries Exhibition in Tehran Saturday morning. He said the present situation in the world is such that those countries after sanctioning Iran will soon have to seek ways to amend their ties with Iran and implore to get Iranian projects. The VP said though at present arrogant powers are exerting sanctions against Iran, they are caught in a very bad situation which will eventually cause their downfall. Praising the latest Iranian scientific and experts achievements, he said the exhibition is the product of imposing sanctions against the Islamic Republic./end
