As we discover Turkey, number of our friends will increase, says Rector of Castilla-La Mancha University

TOLEDO (A.A) - November 28, 2011 - Turkey was the guest of a seminar held at the Spanish city of Toledo's Castilla-La Mancha University on Monday as part of Turkish-Spanish academic relations. During the two-day seminar, Turkey's politics, social life, economics, academic life, history, culture and arts would be introduced to the students of the Castilla-La Mancha University. Speaking at the inauguration of the seminar, Castilla-La Mancha University's Rector Ernesto Martinez stressed that "Turkey was Spain's neighbor in the Mediterranean. This seminar is an excellent opportunity to get to know Turkey's politics, culture, cinema and economy." As we discover Turkey, the number of our friends will increase, Martinez said. Also speaking at the inauguration of the seminar, Turkey's Ambassador in Madrid, Ayse Sinirlioglu, said that "Turkish-Spanish relations were a proof that geographical distance could be overcome by mutual confidence and cooperation".
