West Equations Damaged By Tehran NAM Meet : MP

Orumiyeh, West Azarbaijan, Aug 29, IRNA – The West's equations were damaged by Tehran's hosting the Non-Aligned Movement meeting, a member of Majlis (Parliament) said Tuesday. Exclusively talking to IRNA, Javad Jahangirzadeh said the ongoing NAM meeting in Tehran will prove Iran's significant foothold in the international arenas. The parliamentarian said the West's policies against Iran have been ineffective and futile. He said the NAM member countries have come together in the Iranian capital to review various international issues, including establishment of sustainable peace and removal of regional crises. He hoped the Tehran NAM meeting would help the Syrian people strongly fight the organized terrorist operations in their country. Holding the 16th NAM Summit meeting in Tehran has made the US and the Zionist regime concerned, said the member of Majlis stressing the movement is to express its support for both Palestinian and Syrian nations. On the anti-Iran measures taken by the US and the Zionist regime, Jahangirzadeh said they did all in vain to prevent Tehran from holding such a meeting. The bullying powers are doing whatever they can to portray Iran as an isolated country, he said./end
