Western governments have to acknowledge Iran's standing in region

Tehran, Dec 15, IRNA – The western governments have to acknowledge Iran's standing in the region, head of Strategic Studies Center of the Expediency Council Ali Akbar Velayati said on Monday. Speaking in a local ceremony, he noted that Iran’s current influence spreads from Yemen to Lebanon. The Islamic Republic of Iran's current power is not imaginable to anyone in the world, Velayati added. He said that others have no choice but to admit to Iran’s power and influence in the region. There is a need to study the rapidly-changing developments in the region, Velayati said, adding that Iran always reacts accurately to the developments at the appropriate time./end
