World public opinion best judge of Israel’s massacres: Iranian SNSC chief

TEHRAN,July 28(MNA) – The secretary of Iran’s Supreme National Security Council said world public opinion is the ‘best judge’ of the merciless massacres of women and children being conducted by Israel in the Gaza Strip. SNSC Secretary Ali Shamkhani made the remarks in a telephone conversation with Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Ramadan Shalah on Sunday. Shamkhani reiterated Tehran’s stated policy that Iran will continue its support of the Palestinians. The SNSC chief also predicted that the Palestinians would eventually defeat the Zionist regime. He went on to say that Israel’s merciless massacres of Palestinians show that the Zionist regime’s threat to the Islamic world is increasing. Shalah said the resistance forces’ preparedness to respond to the Israelis has increased and predicted that the Palestinians would defeat Israel. He also thanked Iran for its full support of the Palestinians and said resistance fighters will give a firm response to the Zionist regime. Israel is conducting intensive attacks on the Gaza Strip from the air, land, and sea. The death toll has exceeded 1100, with women and children the main victims. And Tel Aviv has acknowledged that 43 Israeli soldiers have been killed by the Palestinian resistance forces in Gaza.
