World Willing To Expand Ties With Iran : Swedish FM

Isfahan, Feb 4, IRNA - Foreign Minister of Sweden Carl Bildt said Monday in this central Iranian province that world countries are interested in promoting relations with Iran. Bildt said following the November 24 Geneva deal which reached between Iran and G5+1, the global willing for expansion of ties with Iran has been increased. He made the remarks in a meeting with the provincial Governor Rasoul Zargarpour. Visiting the historical sites in Isfahan, the Swedish foreign minister described them as beautiful places known all over the world. What I had read about Isfahan in the books was completely different from what I saw in this historical province, said the Swedish diplomat. Referring to presence of over 100,000 Iranian nationals living in Sweden, he underlined the need for further expansion of all-out relations between the two nations. The governor, too, invited the Swedish foreign minister to attend the international conference on divine religions to be held in Isfahan this Thursday. Bildt arrived in Isfahan Monday morning and is planned to arrive in the Iranian capital on Tuesday.
