Zarif, Ashton Meet To Conclude Issues

Vienna, July 16, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton to conclude the issues, immediately after his fourth meeting with US Secretary of State John Kerry in Vienna on Tuesday. Iranian foreign minister and his US counterpart held another meeting today after they had held three rounds of talks in the past two days. On Sunday, Kerry arrived in Vienna, where negotiations between Iran and the six world nations are underway to reach a comprehensive agreement over the nuclear dispute. Kerryˈs visit to Vienna is aimed at narrowing the remaining gaps with Iran. In a press conference prior to his fourth round of talks with Zarif, Kerry said he had cancelled his visit to the Middle East and wanted to fly back to Washington for consultations with US President Barack Obama and the Congress over the issue.
