Zarif, Ashton Resume Talks In Vienna

Vienna, May 14, IRNA – Iran's FM Mohammad Javad Zarif and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton conferred at the venue of Iranˈs diplomatic mission in Vienna over a working dinner session in the Austrian capital Tuesday night. Zarif and Ashton discussed issues related to the upcoming talks of Iran-Group 5+1 (the five permanent UN Security Council members plus Germany) which will resume on Wednesday at the UN headquarters in New York and will continue till next three years. Zarif is in Vienna to attend the fourth round of nuclear talks with the world powers. Upon his arrival in Vienna on Tuesday, Zarif said that three more rounds of negotiations have been envisaged between Iran and the six world powers until late July. Zarif and his negotiating team are also accompanied by a team of legal advisors and experts in this round of talks. His remarks came as the new round of talks between Iran and the world powers will kick off in Vienna on May 14./end
