Zarif Calls On Intˈl Community To Come To Help Of Gaza People

Tehran, July 28, IRNA - Foreign Minister Mohammad-Javad Zarif on Sunday urged the international community to take immediate action to halt Zionist aggression and help facilitate shipment of humanitarian and medial supplies to Gaza. Zarif made the remarks in a telephone conversation with his Kuwaiti counterpart Sheikh Sabah Khaled al-Sabah. The Zionist regime is taking advantage of the situation created under the blockade and launched a full scale massacre in Gaza, he said. Setting up the ceasefire should meet the demands of Palestinians who call for lifting siege on Gaza and non-repetition of the aggression, he said. The Kuwait foreign minister, for his part expressed the hope that through continued efforts and coordination among countries in the region to witness immediate halt of aggression. He voiced Kuwaitˈs readiness to provide the Palestinian people with humanitarian and emergency relief supplies./end
