Zarif confers with Czech counterpart

Prague, Nov 11, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif, who is paying a visit to Czech Republic, conferred with his counterpart Lubomir Zaoralek on Friday. According to IRNA reporter, the two sides called for further political and economic cooperation. They also discussed regional and international issues. The two foreign ministers will attend a joint press conference after the meeting. Meeting with Czech prime minister is also in Zarif's schedule today. Simultaneous with Zarif's meetings with Czech officials, a 30-member economic delegation from Iran met with Czech businessmen. Iranian economic delegation consists of people from private sector in banking, energy, transportation, medical services, pharmaceuticals, mining, automobile spare parts, and agricultural machinery. Zarif's trip to Prague is the last leg of his visit to three Eastern European countries which had already taken him to Slovakia and Romania. He will fly to Tehran from Prague. 1378/IRNA
