Zarif: Foreign Ministry Defends Nationˈs Rights

Tehran, Feb 5, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said Wednesday that his Ministry strongly defends rights of the Iranian nation. Zarif made the remarks at a ceremony held in commemoration of the martyrs of the Foreign Ministry. Commemorating the memory of Abolqasem Assadi, financial and consulate officer of Iranˈs Embassy in Sanaˈa, Yemen, Zarif regretted that he was assassinated by extremist elements and Takfiris . Assadi was assassinated by gunmen in the Yemeni capital on January 18. /end
