Zarif: JCPOA based on Intl. coop., Leader’s guidelines, natl. interests

TEHRAN, Nov. 03 (MNA) – Iranian Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that international cooperation based on respect, national interests and the realization of the Leader's instructions and guidelines are three major principles of implementing JCPOA. Speaking during the second meeting of Iran's ambassadors and heads of diplomatic missions to other countries on Monday, Zarif said the completion of the implementation process of the JCPOA will provide the Islamic Revolution and the country with favorable conditions while its failure could pose a menace to the country. "We owe our dignity, authority, honor and reputation to the spirit of self-esteem rooted in the teachings of Imam Khomeini (R.H.) and genuine discourse of Islamic Revolution," Zarif said. Pointing to the current crises in the region, the gradual death of Iranophobia and stability of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Zarif reiterated that all efforts will focus on improving the current situation according to what Imam Khomeini and leadership expected and to walk on the path of progress and development on the basis of Islamic brotherhood.” Today, he added, thanks to adherence to the ideals of Imam Khomeini and the genuine discourse of the revolution, Iran has been able to stand against the great powers of the world, to express ourselves and to come out of the difficult situations.
