Zarif Meets Russiaˈs Ryabkov

Vienna, Feb 18, IRNA – Iranˈs Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Russian Deputy Foreign Minister Sergei Ryabkov here on Tuesday. The meeting took place prior to the start of Iranˈs nuclear talks with representatives of the 5+1 group (US, France, Britain, Russia and China plus Germany). The new round of talks between Iran and the 5+1 are aimed at reaching a final comprehensive agreement and are going to start at the European headquarters of the UN in Vienna on Tuesday in the presence of Zarif and EU foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton. The Iranian team of negotiators, as the Foreign Minister Zarif has emphasized, will enter the tough, condensed, and complicated negotiations, keeping in mind Iranˈs rights and interests./end
