Zarif To Tour 3 European States in 10 Days

Tehran, Aug 24, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said on Saturday that he will visit the three European countries of Italy, Luxemburg and Belgium within next 10 days. Zarif confirmed his visit to the three European countries within next 10 days, and said, ˈI will meet the EU Foreign Policy Chief Catherine Ashton in the Belgian capital, Brussels.ˈ Earlier, deputy foreign minister for Euro-American Affairs Majid Takht-e Ravanchi and deputy foreign minister for Legal and International Affairs Abbas Araqchi, also senior members of Iranˈs nuclear negating team, and Foreign Ministry spokeswoman had announced Zarifˈs schedule to meet Ashton early September. The meeting will take place within the framework of nuclear talks and prior to UN General Assembly in New York. Zarif-Ashton meeting is the first after Vienna XI where they failed to reach a Comprehensive Agreement for disputes over a series of issues such as scale of enrichment.
