Zarif: US Has To Face Realities Once For Ever

Tehran, March 15, IRNA – Foreign Minister Mohammad Javad Zarif said that the US has to face the realities once for ever. The foreign minister made the remarks here on Saturday in a joint press conference with his visiting Greek counterpart Evangelos Venizelos. He made the statement in reaction to the recent remarks of some US officials who had asked Iran to make a serious decision to win West’s confidence. Zarif reiterated that Iran, based on its religious teachings and strategic concerns, had never been seeking nuclear arms in the past and is not going to do so in the future either. He also described the visit of his Greek counterpart to Iran as the opening of a new chapter in bilateral cooperation./end
