Z.Enkhbold meets Nigerian Vice President

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Speaker of Parliament Z.Enkhbold received Namadi Sambo, the Vice-President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria on April 28. Z.Enkhbold thanked him for taking part in the CoD conference of CoD and said this visit confirm that the sides have got possibilities of expanding the cooperation and relations. Mongolia is interested in collaborating with Nigeria, who has joined the Initiative Group on Education for Democracy (IGED) initiated by our country, and who is the member of OPEC, also we can support each other and cooperate in frames of the United Nations, the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM) and G-77, he said. The Speaker also said Mongolia can study Nigerian petroleum sector and experience in developing a mechanized agricultural sector, and in sharing information and experience in frames of open society initiative for mining. Z.Enkhbold thanked Nigeria for closely cooperating with Mongolia during its CoD presidency. Present at the meeting were D.Gankhuyag, the Deputy Foreign Minister, and B.Boldbaatar, the Secretary-General of the Parliamentary Office.
