Zionist Regime’s Atrocities On Palestinians, Condemned

Islamabad, Aug 3, IRNA – President of Pakistani-administered Kashmir and senior politicians have strongly condemned the atrocities of Zionist regime against innocent Palestinians. They were talking to IRNA at International Day of Al-Quds observed by Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran on Friday. Deputy Chief of Iranian Mission Hussain Ravish on the occasion paid homage to Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini for inaugurating Al-Quds day. The Quds day has infused a new life in the suffering body of Palestine, he said. Today we are celebrating this day with Pakistani politicians, religious scholars and intellectuals, he said. The Iranian diplomat expressed the hope that Al-Quds will be liberated soon and will go back to its legitimate owners. Talking to IRNA chief guest on the occasion, President of Pakistani administered Kashmir, Sardar Yaqoob said that Father of the Islamic Revolution, Imam Khomeini took a wise decision to inaugurate Al-Quds day. He said that ‘the day reminds us that we the Muslims should never forget our responsibility and duty towards Palestine.’ Replying to a question he said that US should immediately halt its drone strikes inside Pakistan. These strikes give negative message to all human rights organizations. US should stop these illegal strikes, he said. Speaking to IRNA, Minister of State for Science and Technology, Khurram Dastagir Khan said that Al-Quds day is a very important day for Muslim Ummah. He added that the day reminds us that Palestine is still a issue which we have to address with unity. He said that the occasions like Al-Quds bring Muslim countries together. Vice President National Solidarity Council, Asif Luqman Qazi told IRNA that Muslims should unite to resolve the issue of Palestine. He added that the issue of Palestine belongs to whole Muslim Ummah. Condemning the terrorist attack on the holy shrine of Hazrat Zaynab (AS), he said that those who carried out this attack are not humans. Patron in chief of Imam Khomeini Trust (IKT) Allama Syed Iftikhar Hussain Naqvi talking to IRNA said that Imam Khomeini had inaugurated Al-Quds day so that Muslims would never forget their responsibility and duty towards Palestine and all oppressed people in the world. “Today Al-Quds day has become a symbol of freedom of Palestinians,” he said. He said that Al-Quds Day is a nice tradition, which keeps the scattered Muslim Ummah united. Senior analyst Asma Shirazi speaking to IRNA said that Al-Quds is a very important day for all Muslims. He said that Al-Aqsa being first ‘Qibla’ is very dear to all Muslims. She said that Muslims should continue their efforts for the liberation of Al-Quds. She stressed the need for Ummah efforts in stopping Zionist regimes’ atrocities on innocent Palestinians. Leader of Pakistan Awami Tehreek, Muhammad Haider Alvi talking to IRNA said that Muslims should unite to resolve the issue of Palestine. A large number of Pakistani politicians, including diplomats of Muslim countries, religious scholars, analysts, government officials, scholars and important personalities were present on the occasion.
