Zionists Admit Mounting Pressure On Press TV

Tehran, Sept 22, IRNA – The Anti-Defamation League (ADL) has confessed to its key role in using Youtube to mount growing pressure on the Iranian media outlet, Press TV. A press release, a copy of which faxed to IRNA on Friday, quoted Press TVs Newsroom Director, Hamid-Reza Emadi, as saying that efforts have also been made to this effect to interrupt the live broadcast of the Hispan TV. Emadi said the ADL has acknowledged in its official website that only one day after live broadcast of Press TV on Youtube, the officials of the Zionist institute, the ADL, had contacted the video sharing website, calling for end of its activity. He further noted that since July, Youtube had blocked any access to the Press TV account four times. He boasted that fortunately each time, the Press TVs Youtube team had been successful to open up a new page to foil the Youtube attempt. The latest material posted on the ADL website signifies the Leagues efforts to prevent the live broadcast of Iran’s Spanish language network (Hispan TV) on Youtube, Emadi said. He further noted that the article has described Hispan TV as Iran’s anti-Zionism information dissemination arm in Latin America and warned against its role in promoting Iran’s influence in the strategic region. The ADL has also accused Press TV and Hispan TV of making efforts to neutralize the West’s media sanctions against Iran through live broadcasts on Youtube, Emadi said. Emadi also said that the reason the western satellite companies launch extensive measures against the two Iranian networks is the growing number of their audience across the world. The Zionist lobbies have spared no efforts to cause restrictions for the two networks of Press TV and Hispan TV, said Emadi, adding that the lobbies had forced the European Union to issue sanctions against the Iranian TV network top officials and directors./end
