Zoroastrian Official Terms Islamic Revolution An Epic

Shiraz, Fars Prov, Feb 4, IRNA – Head of Fars province Zoroastrian Society said here on Tuesday that the 1979 Islamic Revolution in Iran was a national and religious epic and not a social movement. Talking to IRNA, Aflatoun Sohrabi underlined that all the divine religions, even Islam, were marginalized in Iran before the victory of the Islamic Revolution. This is our honor that the Zoroastrians as members of a religious minority are living in Iran in peace and tranquility, he said. Sohrabi stressed that the Zoroastrians would also mark the victory anniversary of the Islamic Revolution by participating in the nationwide 22nd Bahman rallies./end
